BYC members: This is to inform everyone that in order to fish “legally” in both New York and New Jersey waters, you will need to be “REGISTERED” in both states. This won’t cost you anything, as you may have heard, they did away with the license in NY (temporarily) but you will need to “Register” in both states otherwise it’s a fine. It takes less than 5 minutes and can be done online at the following urls:
 
   You must register every year for these licenses. There is no fee to do this, just a few minutes of your time.
