Bentley Yacht Club

Welcome to our Web Site. We are what you would call a "No Frills" Yacht Club, and have been in existence since the early 1900's (Incorporated, 1909).  We are situated in the small town of Tottenville, located in Staten Island at the southernmost tip of New York City. The Club sits on the Arthur Kill,  just off the Raritan Bay.

A little bit about us

Our membership is made up of middle class workers and retirees, many of which are from the Tottenville area. A good portion of our members, have actually grown up in Tottenville. We are a club- not a marina, and as such, members must be sponsored and voted on, to achieve membership. Members are charged, based solely on what the Club needs to survive for that year. The Bentley Yacht Club has always been a non-profit fraternal organization. Every penny collected, goes directly to the Club and it’s members’ needs. We were established in the early 1900's, with the idea of giving Tottenville boaters a place to meet and keep their boats, without having to pay the high costs of most marinas. Something we could call our own. We do not have all the bells and whistles most other places have, but are fully functional. Unlike most other clubs, when one of us has a problem, it becomes everyone’s problem. We gladly help each other out and we all learn from one another. You would have a hard time finding nicer people anywhere.
